“Zombie”

Zombie PosterWhen slacker buddies Mike and Phil discover a shambling zombie has taken up residence in Mike’s basement, it looks as if a good old fashioned zombie-slaying romp is imminent. However, when Mike’s girlfriend Jen arrives with a zen new philosophy regarding the zombie phenomenon, the two budding slayers of the undead must decide whether their new house-guest is really the threat they assumed him to be.

A philosophical new take satirizing the zombie fad of the new millenium’s first decade, Brandon Wicke’s one-act play Zombie asks what really separates us from them… Meta-theatrical, absurd, thoughtful, gory, and fun, this existential comedy has received staged readings at SpringWorks Indie Theatre Fest and at Phoenix Theatre, as well as a full production by Orphaned Egret at the Imperial Pub in Toronto, 2015.
