\"headshot<\/a>Brandon Wicke is a Canadian Playwright and Theatre-Maker, currently residing in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.<\/p>\n

Growing up on a farm outside of Stratford, Ontario, Wicke began his career in Theatre with two seasons with the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, appearing as Rutland <\/em>in Henry VI <\/em>and Jonas Miller <\/em>in Anne Chislett’s Quiet in the Land. <\/em>Brandon graduated from Concordia University in Montreal with a BFA in Playwriting and has since co-founded and provided Artistic Direction for Orphaned Egret Theatre<\/em>, a collective of Theatre-Makers active across Canada.<\/p>\n

Brandon’s plays have received productions by Phoenix Theatre <\/em>in Arizona, Cro Magnon Theatre <\/em>in London UK as well as by University of the Fraser Valley <\/em>in Chilliwack British Columbia and Brebeuf College School <\/em>in Toronto Ontario. His plays Third Person <\/em>and Rock, Paper, Scissors <\/em>have been published in Out on a Limb<\/em>, the collection of new Canadian Plays by Signature Editions, and\u00a0Bare Fiction\u00a0<\/em>literary magazine respectively.\"Pivot<\/a><\/p>\n

Not a member of any guilds, associations or unions, Brandon has been independently managing, promoting, and creating his own work for the past decade, and is currently in the process of making theatre independently, with Orphaned Egret<\/em>, and with other local companies in his new home of Whitehorse.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
